Recent

It has been far too long since I have blogged.  I find so little time to spend on my own...which I love!  I can't open my laptop without Hazel wanting in on the fun.  She recently has learned out to change my internet homepage, my desktop background, and the font.  She is walking all over and is getting faster and more adventurous.  She loves to snuggle her "fuff fuff" which is a huge stuffed pink dog I bought her after Valentines Day for very cheap.  She loves all of her owls and says "whoo whoo" whenever she sees them.  I love reading books to her.  That usually lasts 3-5 seconds then on to other things.  She keeps me on my toes and I love her so much.  We are always on the go.  I love watching her figure things out.  She loves to rub backs and she says "ahhhh" when she does it.  She makes the same sound when she wants a drink, after she takes a drink, when she sees a drink, and after she farts.  I didn't teach her the latter.  I am always laughing at her cuteness.  She is hilarious!
Here is a picture of her with her fuff fuff watching TV.
Tomorrow she will be 14 months.  I cannot believe how big she is.  I am very blessed to be her mom.

The Hills Are Alive...

For Christmas, Neil ordered me "The Sound of Music" from Amazon.  It got here a few days late but I was beyond excited.  I sure love this movie and I annoyingly sing along with every single song.  I may have rewound it a few times on certain parts to watch them again.  Hazel joined me in our after Christmas viewing.  She loved all the singing.  I am a proud mom!  She is learning all the important things in life such as, make the biggest mess possible, watch movies over and over again to memorize each line, people watch, etc.  She is pretty amazing and I love that I get to spend every day hanging out with her!
Watching intently while chewing on her new doll's foot.
She seems to be amazed by the nun's outfits and their terrible singing.
Oh, that face!  She is just as thrilled as I was to be watching Julie Andrews be amazing.

Christmas continues...

It is so hard to believe that my baby girl's first Holiday season has come and gone.  She is getting so big so fast.  We had so much fun with all of Neil's side of the family here in our home on Christmas day.  We were also able to spend a lot of time with my side of the family the few days before Christmas.  Kristin and Mike also came up the weekend after Christmas for a few days.  I love the holidays.  Mostly all the food.  But, the family and friends are an added bonus.
Just about everything that Hazel got for her first Christmas.  She loves all her new toys.
Hazel and Daddy's stockings all ready for Christmas morning!
Hazel's first present opening experience for Christmas.  She loved the bells that were on the package and played with them forever!
Her first presents from Hayden (Moe made these).  She absolutely loves wearing her had and playing with her doll and owl.

Christmas at Grammy's

On Saturday the 23rd we went over to Grammy's house to open presents from them.  Hazel had a blast and it was so fun to see Melissa and her family.  Hazel loves going over to their house to play especially for presents!
Hazel's first Christmas present!
Hayden had Hazel for the cousin presents this year.  Melissa made Hazel the cutest hat, doll, and owl!  Hazel absolutely loves them!
Hazel's presents from Grammy and Grampy...overalls and a ball that rolls and sings.
